Hi and welcome to my art blog! I'm a non-binary, gender abolitionist, intersectional feminist, who unapologetically pushes the boundaries of gender and what queer bodies look like, if you can't handle that then leave! Hope you enjoy my art!

First Affiliate Income - 6-Month-Old Travel Blog

Hey, juststart,
Just wanted to pop in to let you know that I've earned (sort of) my first $ on a 6-month-old "city guide" sort of travel website. $3.50 on a one-night hotel stay through bookingdotcom, lol.
I just started putting up affiliate posts over the last month, and the booking came from a post that was only 4 days old.
It's not much, but for me it's proof-of-concept for the site. I feel that if I can earn $3.50, then I can earn $7, and if I can earn $7, I can earn $14.
Of course, I won't see that money for a long time. Will have to wait to meet the payout threshold, and it won't even go into that pot until something like six weeks after the completed stay or something like that.
Also, Adsense just approved my site, and I have it set up to serve auto-ads currently, so starting to experiment with that. I'm not getting a ton of traffic right now due in part to seasonality, but I want to make sure everything is ironed out and working well by the time the traffic starts to come in the Spring.
Hope all is well for you.
God's peace.

French Bank affiliated SG Americas fined 350k for facilitating options manipulation through affiliates outside of US....until Feb 2021.

Turns out some accounts working in concert leading up to Jan 2021 at SG Americas were buying shitloads of options contracts through out-of-country affiliates that weren't being reported to FINRA....
"In February 2021, the firm implemented changes to its system to more precisely identify accounts required to be designated as acting-in-concert." I wonder why the changes happened in Feb 2021.../s
In other news, Morgan Stanley fined 250k for 2+ years of not marking short sales in 1.9m+ transactions

Can someone explain to me where this popular notion that Walter White stomps Light Yagami (Breaking Bad vs Death Note) comes from? Because I've noticed a bunch of posts claiming this, as well as that G1 blog post.

And please, don't just respond "Light's unarmed, Walt shoots him, lol". If you're just going to randomly stick two characters whose skillsets lie in methodical planning and using others into a caveman slugfest, there's no point in using the characters at all.
I want to preface this by saying that I like this matchup idea in theory. It's more grounded than Light vs Lelouch (a character who primarily fights with mechas), and it is very thematically fitting. Walter is probably the closest American equivalent to Light that I can think of from a crime drama.

However, based on everything that I know from both series, all the evidence overwhelmingly points to Light having almost every advantage if there were ever a shadow war between Kira and Heisenberg. At the peak of his power he was in possession of:
- Not one, but two of the titular notebooks, the most dangerous non-nuclear weapon on the planet (the third was under lock and key). Something that lets him carry out mass assassinations anywhere on the world without ever having to leave the safety of his territory.
- L's information network and connections to police forces and governments all across the world, that he could use to obtain information or special favors from. Including the White House.
- A feared reputation as Kira that could let him coerce governments to do his bidding, where his influence as L might not be able to. Again, including the White House.
- Near total control over the narrative of the ongoing Kira investigation thanks to being his own lead investigator and officially exonerating himself as a suspect in the eyes of the NPA.
- A minion with undying loyalty to him that not only writes names in his absence, but can identify a person just by looking at their face.
- Investigative skills years beyond his age. So much so that he was a credible rival to the biggest brains at Wammy's House, an institute specifically built to groom modern day Sherlock Holmses.

Walter meanwhile:
- Has virtually no experience in detective work at all, nevermind any for cases on the other side of the globe. And the only person in his syndicate that is a decent detective hates his guts, constantly disagrees with Walt's plans, is not a fluent Japanese speaker, and is currently under investigation by the DEA.
- Has an international reach that only extends as far as Lydia Rodarte-Quayle's connections allows. Who herself is part of a company that is also under investigation by both the DEA and the German police.
- Only has a single friend in law enforcement, his brother-in-law. And can only gain as much information as a family member would be allowed to be told, or he can spy from a planted microphone on Hank's desk.
- Does not have any friends or allies in any government, and would have to somehow make them from scratch. Something that's not very feasible for a carwash owner or a meth kingpin, outside of the most corrupt governments in the worlds. And unfortunately neither the US or Japanese governments are likely to be among them.
- Has no criminal allies in Japan at all, and would need to take weeks or potentially months setting up some kind of front there for an investigation to start.
- Is stuck with guns and explosives that are going to be a nightmare to smuggle out of the USA. Complicating matters even more is that he'd need to get them into Japan. A country with some of the most restrictive gun laws in the world, and thanks to its densely populated urban nature, is far harder to arrange quiet hits in than in New Mexico.

Like I said before, I like this idea in theory. And I even made a Death Realm thread for it. However, it seemed quite clear to me that concessions had to be granted to Walt to give him even just a small fighting chance. Including Light treating New Mexico as a low priority crime zone for at least six months. Because if we assume that both players are treating the other as their top priority and that Light is going all-in on Heisenberg's empire, then this seems like the most realistic outcome to me.
While Walt and his allies try to fumble around digging as much information as a group of non-law enforcement investigators could reasonably gather, Light contacts the President of the USA as Kira. He makes it very clear that he wants an FBI task force to be formed specifically to bolster the DEA's efforts in New Mexico. Additionally he wants some of their agents to go undercover and get themselves recruited as street distributors.
Then he looks into files concerning the investigation into the previous kingpin of the region, Gustavo Fring. And quickly discovers that there are about a dozen of his men locked up that are keeping secrets about the operation. Along with the fact that people within Madrigal Electromotive aided Fring, and that a man by the name of Mike Ehrmantraut is suspected of being one of Fring's associates.
Wasting no time, Light arranges for the incarcerated men to die. But not before specifying certain actions that they would take before dying. That they would request to speak with the DEA, and confess everything they've been keeping secret. Information that passes to Light through his information network. And boom. He now has just cause to kill Mike Ehrmantraut, eliminating someone who is probably Walt's most effective ally.
Lydia too is exposed and arrested. Shortly after she's taken into custody, a very shaken looking guard comes in and tells her that her lawyer is on the phone. When she picks up the receiver, she receives a frightening message.
"Lydia Rodarte-Quayle. If you are in a room with multiple people, do not show ANY signs of alarm to those around you. Not even to the guard who was kind enough to facilitate this call. I am not your lawyer, but I am someone who is very interested in your dealings with New Mexico's criminal underworld. I am Kira. And if you do not comply with my demands, this is what will happen. Tomorrow morning at 10 am MST, your daughter Kiira will suddenly die in her school homeroom in the most excruciating manner humanly possibly. Oh yes, few people are aware but I can kill people through means other than a heart attack. And after 23 days of your misery, you too will suffer the exact same fate. There is nothing that you can say or do to stop me. Unless of course you voluntarily surrender everything you know about Heisenberg and his associates to the DEA. If you do this for me I will spare your daughter, and PERHAPS I might spare you. Do we have an understanding?"
She quickly complies. By the end of the night Light has what he needs. Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Saul Goodman, and Todd Alquist have warrants out for their arrest. Something that they won't live long enough to even experience, since Light now has their names and faces. Combine that with the names gathered from the FBI's operation, and Albuquerque suddenly finds itself very short of meth suppliers.
What was Walt doing in the meantime? If he was very lucky, he might have managed to invent some kind of excuse to travel to Japan on a business trip in a desperate bid to find Kira on his own after Mike died. And perhaps he's made an ally or two in what remains of Japan's dwindling Yakuza syndicates. Maybe even gone to a bar and befriended some guy in the NPA who was part of the first investigative team under Soichiro Yagami. But he's likely going to suffer a fatal heart attack well before he ever becomes aware that Misa Amane or Light Yagami were rumored to be suspects in the Kira case a few years back.

And that's all just an example of how badly things could go for Walt if Light focused on Gus' incarcerated men. There's a whole bunch of other loose ends that Light could exploit to pinpoint Walt long before the man ever got the chance to establish a base of operations in Japan. Brandon "Badger" Mayhew for one. Someone who was caught by the DEA dealing Blue Sky meth, and has seen Walt in person. Light would only have to compel a confession out of him, leading Light to Jesse, who in turn leads Light to Walt.
So what am I missing here? How realistically would Walt and his allies be able to track down and kill a Kira on high alert before he could systematically exterminate their empire?

EDIT: Holy shit, I just realized that Lydia's daughter almost shares a name with Kira.

How to affiliate market on a blog?

Hello,
I own a blog on technology topic. I usually post a set of recommended books as affiliate links to Amazon. The books that i recommend are the extremely popular books on the topic. There is a high probability that people already have read them.
I'm wondering what the best affiliate marketing strategy is.
Should I recommend a new and different set of best books on each blog post? Let's say a set of three good books on each blog post. What do you think?

Which surgeons offer non-binary options for vaginoplasty?

I'm 25 MTF. I've been considering surgery for a little while now and I'd like to collect more info. I want to know more about nonstandard surgeries but I don't exactly want penile-preserving vaginoplasty. My ideal results would resemble what a vagina would look like with the effects of testosterone, similar to transmasculine genitalia.
Do any surgeons offer something like this? I think I heard that Dr Min Jun did a surgery like this. If anyone has gotten a similar procedure and would like to share any info I would appreciate it.
